BPM still needs a process

November 15, 2008 — Business process management (BPM) remains an informal function at many companies, according to a recent survey of more than 300 businesses by the Association for Information and Image Management. AIIM asked:

Do you have a specific group in your organization responsible for BPM?

57% said no
43% said yes

Does your organization have a chief process officer?

90% said no
10% said yes
