AccuSoft introduces ImageGear for .NET

September 30, 2008 —  Sometimes, creating a specialized application from scratch is just not feasible. Hoping to seize on that notion, an imaging software development kit maker has introduced a lineup for .NET that targets different versions of the framework, as well as vertical markets.

On Sept. 26, AccuSoft introduced version 16 of its ImageGear toolkits for .NET and the .NET Compact Framework, including specialized imaging professional and medical editions. Pricing for the SDKs starts at US$3,995.

New features found in the products include integration with Microsoft’s ASP.NET AJAX; the inclusion of nearly 200 raw digital camera image formats; and an assortment of photo enhancement, filtering effects and functions. Along with that comes improved CAD interoperability with native support for the U3D 3D drawing format within PDF and the DWF file format, PDF-A and PDF-X document verifiers.
