Cenzic Unleashes Hailstorm Dashboard

October 15, 2006 —  Cenzic is announcing today a risk assessment dashboard designed to bring consistency to a company's applications from a security perspective.

Hailstorm Enterprise Application Risk Controller (ARC), due to be released Nov. 15, is a central administrative tool for running and viewing risk assessments and for creating workflows for different groups in an enterprise, according to Mandeep Khera, vice president of marketing for Cenzic. "There is no one single view of the enterprise" from a security perspective, Khera said.

A key component being introduced with this release is Hailstorm Application Risk Metric (HARM), which is a methodology for assigning qualitative risk scores to applications based on their type, priority, use and other factors, Khera explained. The dashboard is integrated with Cenzic's line of Hailstorm automated testing tools, which emulate how a hacker might attack an application.
