Datawatch: SaaS adoption to increase

A recent survey from IDC indicates that SaaS adoption will be spurred by perceptions that it allows for easier expansion during difficult economic times. In particular, the survey predicts that worldwide SaaS adoption will grow 40.5% more this year than last.

According to an IDC survey, U.S. PC sales have grown at a slower rate in the third quarter. Apple had the highest rate of increase at 32%, but Dell was still the leader, with over 5 million shipments.
