iTKO Offers Free Web Services Testing Tool

October 15, 2006 — LISA WS-Testing can now be downloaded for free from iTKO. This piece of the larger LISA Complete SOA Test Platform 3.5 supports unit, functional and regression tests. Such tests can be designed and executed within LISA WS-Testing. While this portion of the tool is free, iTKO hopes it will be a jumping-off point for companies seeking to purchase the entire SOA test suite. LISA WS-Testing is available today at www.itko.com/ws-testing.

"People have asked if the free WS-Testing offering is comparable to that of leading Web services testing tools available today," said John Michelsen, co-founder and chief architect of iTKO. "This is a commercial product, not trialware or an open-source utility. We would not offer the product if it did not meet or exceed other commercially available products."
