AVIcode Delivers Intercept Studio 4.0

January 8, 2007 —
Baltimore-based AVIcode has released what it claims is the first .NET monitoring solution that delivers real-time monitoring and diagnostics for both application failures and "performance bottlenecks."

Intercept Studio 4.0, which shipped earlier today, offers a comprehensive view of application health by providing a "per application" and a "system level" view of key performance metrics, while also correlating performance counter data to application behavior, AVIcode said.

Version 4.0 also offers a reporting function that leverages Microsoft Reporting Services to deliver better insight into application availability and behavior trends, according to the company, and its on-the-fly configuration enables stronger customization of data collection thresholds and triggers.
