Electric Cloud Automates Software Production

October 1, 2006 —
Build management software provider Electric Cloud has announced plans to ship later this year ElectricCommander, a browser-based tool for automating the build, package, test and deploy processes. The company positions ElectricCommander as the finishing touch in its line of production management software, joining the parallel-build tools of ElectricAccelerator and ElectricInsight, an add-on to ElectricAccelerator that adds detailed reporting on project builds.

ElectricCommander uses a multithreaded Java server to support the most complex build and test processes, allows tagged project assets to be shared and reused, and creates log files that give transparent access to how a job runs, as opposed to simply recording success or failure.
