Do you like attending tech conferences? Have you been asked to be a speaker? (Go You!) Either way, if you're there anyway, shouldn't you get to share your experience?
Now we know you're all probably tweeting, Facebook-ing and Instagram-ing from your smartphone devices at these events, but we're talking about writing an article to be published on SDTimes.com. You're not press, and you're not covering it for SD Times -- we're simply asking you to share your experiences (in 800 words or less) with us and our readers.
You'll get this awesome mug and a byline on SDTimes.com AND we'll include your social media identities (handle, shout out on Facebook) in our mentions of your articles.
Sound like a good deal? Check out the guidelines here and send David Rubinstein (Editor-in-Chief, SD Times) a pitch at drubinstein at bzmedia dot com, if he likes it, he'll tell you.
Here are the conferences we're looking for newshounds for -- and if you're just going to the conference but don't want to write a long article, tweet your thoughts from the conference using the hashtag #newshound -- we'll read them and possible RT them to our followers.
