Are you a woman in computing? A female developer or software professional looking for a grant to fund a project that promotes women and computing? The Anita Borg Systers Pass-It-On (PIO) awards may just grant you $500-1000.
The PIO awards are given to one woman every six months to help her with her involvement in something that promotes women and computing. The PIO Awards program is accepting applications for its spring award until July 6 at 12:00pm PT. The application process requires a woman to be 18 years-old and in, or aspiring to be in, the field of computing. It is a world-wide competition.
Think you're the woman for the grant? Have a friend in mind? Spread the word, and follow Anita Borg Systers on Twitter and Facebook to learn about more opportunities.
