
Google introduced in-app payments for developers to insert in their applications in the Android Market last week to help developers increase their revenue.
This allows for a variety of options including trials, purchasing additional features and the selling of virtual goods and upgrades directly from the application.
Apple has already added this to their applications and by this move; Google may be making themselves more pleasing to developers who have created an app for the Apple App Store. Do you think this is the case?
Several apps launching today are already using the service, including Tap Tap Revenge by Disney Mobile, Comics by ComiXology, Gun Bros, Deer Hunter Challenge HD and WSOP3 by Glu Mobile and Dungeon Defenders: FW Deluxe by Trendy Entertainment, according to Google’s Android blog.
