Yesterday, Google added analytics to their market publishing tool for Android developers to track how their applications are doing in the app store. The new features, according to Android Police, are unavailable to end-users, but can be enlightening to developers.
The statistics include a Flash chart of installs, Android versions using the application, device models, countries where end-users downloading your applications and languages used on the phone where your app has been downloaded.
Has anyone tried this yet? Do you think it will help you determine what applications to develop, which ones to update and which ones to pull out of the market? Share your ideas with us.
