Apple has posted a gallery of HTML5 demo applications on its Web site. I'm impressed by the functionality of the demos, which range from audio to typography to video. You'll need to have Safari installed on your machine(s) to view the demos. Has anyone tried it on their iPhone yet?
It's great that Apple is clearly invested in HTML 5. All I've really seen of it thus far is an experimental YouTube Web page. It's great to be able to use these types of applications without having to wait for a plug-in to load (sorry Flash). Kudos to John Gruber of Daringfireball fame for pointing this gallery out on his blog.
