This coming April, the Erlang Factory Conference comes to the San Francisco Bay area. The event should be a hoot for anyone who actually writes in this suddenly cool language. Of course, the real exciting thing about Erlang is the scalability of applications written in it, so there should be lots of good advice to be had for the cloud set at the show. Damien Katz will be talking about CouchDB, and Robert Virding, creator of Erlang, will also be speaking. The event takes place from April 29 to May 1, with a few days of intensive classes before all of that. The pre-event university will focus on OTP Express, Erlang in general, and CouchDB, so there will be plenty to keep everyone busy at the show.
This all takes place at the Sheraton in Palo Alto.
