Sam Ramji clarified Microsoft's position about GPL (GNU General Public License) in a recent e-mail conversation with the Software Freedom Law Center's Bradely Kuhn and SD Times. You can
read all about it here. Thus far, it has been amiacable, and both parties are willing to drive it forward. Ramji has said that the conversation is important to Microsoft. While I cannot divulge what is said off the record, I can tell you that this dialog will be ongoing. We'll update you all then there is something more to say.
