Teleplace Supports SharePoint in Virtual Workspace

July 21, 2010 —  SharePoint support for Mac and Windows users is included in version 3.5 of Teleplace, software for a secure virtual workspace. Teleplace, a provider of collaboration solutions, announced the release yesterday.

Distributed teams can now review and co-edit SharePoint documents in real time within Teleplace from behind the firewall and in the cloud. This added support also includes “storing and sharing documents in the same repositories [users] would without Teleplace,” said CEO Greg Nuyens, in a statement.

Additional features in v3.5 include expanded capabilities for building and editing 3D objects as well as automatic authorization of users in Teleplace through the Active Directory. Teleplace is available now and includes a free 30-day trial.
