October 3, 2011 —  The Linker's favorite iMac was killed by PG&E this week. Power went out, and when it came back up, a sickening hiss was followed by burnt dust being expelled from the 2006 model's fan port. It was a good steed and served well. Were he not in California, The Linker might hold a Viking funeral for it. Were it not a Mac, he also might have been able to change the power supply out of it. Such is life...
