Accusoft Pegasus Rebrands as Accusoft with New Product Offerings

Email
February 21, 2012 —  Accusoft, the leading provider of document, content and imaging solutions, today announces that after three years of doing business as Accusoft Pegasus it will be rebranded as Accusoft, strengthening its commitment to deliver enterprise grade and fully-supported applications and support its globally recognized software development kits (SDKs).

"The transition of the company name to Accusoft reflects our dedication to provide an even broader range of products to enable our customers to create top-of-line products and integrate cost saving applications," said Jack Berlin, CEO of Accusoft. "With the new direction of the brand, we continue to differentiate ourselves in the global marketplace as a company with a very diverse product portfolio of applications and SDKs."

The acquisition of Adeptol by Accusoft, further diversified its product portfolio with the addition of the zero-footprint Adeptol AJAX Document Viewer, renamed Prizm Content Connect. This acquisition provided Accusoft and Adpetol's combined customer base access to the industry's widest array of imaging tools and cutting-edge applications designed to optimize Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system investments and reduce operating costs for customers.

The company was founded as Pegasus Imaging in 1991 in Tampa, Fla. Pegasus Imaging acquired TMS Sequoia in 2004, Accusoft in 2008, Tasman Barcode in 2009, and Adeptol in 2011. Accusoft remains privately owned with headquarters located in Tampa, Fla. For more information and a look at the newly designed website go to www.accusoft.com.
