TechExcel

Trophy

When you’re looking for a trusted ALM solutions provider, you can’t do better than TechExcel, named to the 2009 SD Times 100.

“TechExcel’s flagship product is DevTrack, a market-leading defect and project tracking tool used by development teams of all sizes around the globe,” says Tieren Zhou, Ph.D., TechExcel’s founder, CEO and chief software architect.

“Designed to manage all phases of the application life cycle, DevSuite is an integrated set of tools for development process management. Every module within the suite can stand alone and has features that distinguish it from other similar products in the market. DevSuite is designed from the ground up to be integrated and, through this integration, it delivers features that unite the entire life cycle.”

DevTrack manages product defects, change requests, project-related documents, HTML links and all other development issues. It facilitates collaboration between development teams and provides powerful workflow and process automation, searching and reporting, and point-and-click customization. In addition, DevTrack includes a number of modules, each designed to serve a different stage of development.

Project Studio is a project management suite designed for development, customer service and IT service management projects. It includes DevPlan for strategic, high-level planning and resource allocation; DevTrack for low-level task tracking and workflow control; and KnowledgeWise for collaboration and document sharing.

DevSpec is an integrated requirements management solution that provide visibility, traceability and validation of your product and project requirements. DevSpec provides a framework to create new requirements, specifications and features that can be linked to development and testing implementation projects.

DevTest Studio tracks and manages the complete quality life cycle. DevTest Studio combines the test management features of DevTest, the defect tracking features of DevTrack, and TestLink for test automation.

One of TechExcel’s main priorities is to provide tools that allow developers to approach projects “their way.” TechExcel believes that its tools and technologies can lead to happier development teams. And who can argue with that?
